Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
- Arrive in Paro, where your guide will welcome you.
- Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hrs), enjoying views of landscapes and villages.
- Stop at Tachog Lhakhang and cross the iconic iron chain bridge.
- In Thimphu, visit the National Memorial Chorten, followed by the Buddha Dordenma for panoramic valley views.
- End the day browsing Thimphu’s weekend market or craft bazaar for local handicrafts and a taste of daily life.
- Overnight in Thimphu at a comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Thimphu Festival
- Begin your day at Tashichho Dzong, the ceremonial hub of Thimphu Tsechu—Bhutan’s grandest religious festival.
- Watch sacred Cham dances, performed by monks and laypeople in elaborate masks and costumes, depicting spiritual stories of good triumphing over evil.

Day 3: Punakha Exploration
- After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m), stopping to admire the 108 stupas of Druk Wangyal Chortens and panoramic Himalayan views.
- Descend into Punakha Valley, where the landscape shifts to rice terraces and a warmer, subtropical climate.
- Stop for a short village walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, dedicated to the eccentric saint Drukpa Kunley.
- Visit Punakha Dzong, Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress, located at the confluence of two rivers and rich in spiritual and historical importance.

- After breakfast, hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched 900m above Paro Valley.
- The 5–6-hour trek winds through pine forests and prayer-flag-lined paths with stunning views.
- Stop at the cafeteria for lunch and scenic vistas before continuing to the monastery.
- Explore the sacred site where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated.
- Descend and return to Paro. Evening at leisure—relax, explore, or enjoy a hot stone bath.
- Overnight in Paro.
Day 6: Departure from Paro

- Your guide will transfer you to Paro International Airport and assist with departure formalities.
